Bright, light, and funky! Just a 15 minute drive to either entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Palms Canyon sits on 5 acres in the Desert Heights area with 360 degree views of the mountains in the beautiful desert. Enjoy the sunrise while drinking your coffee from the covered patio. Explore Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree during the day. In the evening, enjoy dinner in the covered patio with a view, cool off in the cowboy pool, have a drink while soaking in the hot tub, play horseshoes or bocce ball near the firepit and end your night stargazing from the hammocks! 

*NOTE: Cowboy pool may be closed October to March due to weather.

Palms Canyon is a two bed, two bath with an open concept kitchen/living room. This house is great for a group of friends, a family or two couples.

Please no parties :)

We allow 2 dogs with a small pet fee of $50 per dog/night. We ask dogs not be left unattended in the house at any time unless crated. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside (no pee pads please) and please clean up after them. All dogs must be leashed when outside the house. The first $50 pet fee is included in your rate as long as you include the dog(s) in your reservation. If you are bringing a 2nd dog, the additional $50 will be charged separately.

To show our gratitude we provide coffee and tea for guests!

We have the fastest WiFi the desert offers but please note - it is satellite so it tends to still be quite slow, regardless! So if you are coming to stay and work we always suggest bringing a hot spot to be safe.

Self check-in with a door lock code. Owners will be available by app 7am to 7pm.
Owners will be available for emergencies 24/7 by phone.

Desert Heights is a quiet little neighborhood with great views of all the mountains. The houses are few and far between giving it a feel of solitude. The nearest store is about 10 minutes away. Come enjoy the high desert in all its beauty. Please note that our road is a dirt road but any car can handle it :)

The roads are dirt, but 4x4 isnt necessary.

We have one security camera on the exterior of our house — it monitors only the front yard — it is essential because we don’t live locally — it is for security purposes only :)

Wifi is satellite ! We have the fastest speed the hi dez offers. If you’re coming and working we recommend bringing a hot spot because we cannot guarantee the speed. It is spotty towards the end of the month.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
